2. Safety Instructions

Risk of electrocution. Before use you should always test the voltage detector on a known live

circuit to verify proper operation of the meter

Double insulation

• This meter has been designed with attention to safety, but the user must also take care to respect the

safety prescriptions described below.

• Do not exceed the maximum values for current or voltage measurements.

• Use extreme caution when working with voltages in excess of 25V AC rms. These voltages are considered a

shock hazard.

• Never operate the device if the back panel or the cover of the battery or fuse compartment is not securely

in place.
